Web Specialist
Description:
Various roles are required for this position with the responsibilities of data entry, application and web testing, template design and web editing.
Must be willing to be guided by a team of Lead Web Specialists. Strong ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members is a crucial job function.
Essential to this position is proven skills with deadline and scheduling management. Must be proactive, consistent in performance, and able to work in a fast paced
team environment.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of two years technical college and three years experience, preferably in computer science, an engineering science, desktop publishing or the equivalent
experience in a related field, or a four year degree and one year of experience in a computer related field. General understanding of web processes including
technical skills in HTML and CSS; detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Knowledge of MultiAd Creator and the printing and prepress industry.
Advanced knowledge of page layout and template design. Strong problem solving skills and must be a good team player.
Desired:
In addition to the required qualifications, knowledge or experience with the following will be useful in comprehension and completion of daily tasks: Adobe InDesign,
QuarkXpress, Font management, Adobe Acrobat Distiller, Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Flash and web development software like BBEdit,
TextMate or Coda.
